| “Reform New Raohe Street，flourish
business” is our board’s ultimate goal. Taking
advantages of local traveling resources and improve
Raohe Street Night Market’s communal facilities, we wish
to advance this market to another peak.Today’s Raohe
Street was broadened and reconstructed in 1975. With a
love of township, the residents of Raohe Street
organized the Committee of Community Development Board,
which is the predecessor of Board of the Raohe Street
Tourist Night Market. This committee was formed by
former city councilor Zhou Ying Ying, local
personalities, residents, landlords, and vendors. After
several discussions, the committee passed a resolution
to set up the Raohe Street delicacies and pedestrian
zone (district). With the advantages of convenient
traffic, crowd, religion celebrations, night market
vendors, and well planned business models, the
government and the committee worked together to
supervise and manage the Raohe Street Night Market.
Today, the Board of the Raohe Street Tourist Night
Market is continually involved in advancing the
community to a prosperous stage, and has set up a
successful business role model for the
